Cabinet Election got conducted at Children’s Academy Senior Secondary School on school’s auditorium Krishna Swaroop Memorial Auditorium. In election voting was done by the Teachers, Non-Teaching staff and the Students from classes 6 to 12, for the posts of Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Discipline Incharge Girl, Discipline Incharge Boy, Sports Head Boy, Sports Head Girl. A long queue of young voters was seen at the school polling booths. Interest of children in the election process was evident when they were heard discussing victory and loss in the school premises. Coloured ballot papers were prepared for different posts. The ballot papers contained the name of the candidates. Their names are
Head Boy- Shubh Dumka 12th and Gaurav Pandey,
Head Girls- Gayatri Joshi12th(hum), Kanchan Joshi(Science) and Kanchan Joshi (Comm.),
Deputy Head Boys- Ujjwal Pandey10th Abhinav Pant, Sagar Upreti and Atul Pandey.
Dep. Head Girls- Mansa Joshi 10th and Geetanjali.
Discipline incharge Boys- Mohit Upadhyay 10th, Pawan Joshi, Rudraksh Pandey.
Discipline Incharge Girls –Ayesha Rawat 9th, Divya Joshi, and Kavita Paladiya.
Sports head boys– Suraj Singh 11th Commerce, Bhaskar( 9th), Ujjwal Joshi.
Sports head girls- Yogita Mehra 10th and Nikita. The result of election will be announced soon followed by the swearing-in ceremony.
Highlighting the purpose of the Cabinet Election a brainy Executive Director of school Miss Priyanshi Pathak said that to understand the concept of democratic system and its process, Cabinet Election is very part and parcel. Ma’am told students about the importance of vote, she made students aware of public representatives and their own responsibilities. During the election the honorable and dignified Director of Children’s Academy Senior Secondary School Mr. Shrish Pathak Sir cited the quotation of Abraham Lincoln.
Abraham Lincoln. said, “Democracy is a rule of the people, for the people and by the people”. Sir told students the meaning of quotation, that democracy is a form of government in which the rulers are elected by the people. The citizens of the country elect the Government to rule the country and the elected government work for the welfare of the people. In the same way leaders who get elected by the children in this school will work for the betterment of the school.
After that the cognizant Principal of school Mrs. Monika Joshi Ma’am presented the quotation of Barbara Boxer she said “Every citizen of this country should be guaranteed that their vote matters, that their vote is counted, and that in the voting booth, their vote has as much weight as that of any CEO, any member of Congress or any President.”
Ma’am said that We are and will remain responsible for all the actions and changes taking place in our society. Therefore, if we want to run the society well, then we need a good leader who can work for the betterment of the society. Ma’am explained to the children that if you want to bring the changes in the school for the betterment of the school, a good leader would be needed. Ma’am further explained to the children that the purpose of organizing election is not only to understand the democratic process but also to create good speakers and good leaders, and to bring out the hidden talents of the children. On the occasion of Cabinet Election, the entire school family including school’s Director Shrish Pathak Sir, Director of La Infancia Kavita Pathak Ma’am , Executive Director Miss Priyanshi Pathak ma’am, Principal Mrs. Monika Joshi Ma’am, Administrator Mrs. Renu Mishra Ma’am were present. Some Teachers like Mr. Pramod Joshi Sir, Mr. Basant Joshi Sir and Mr. Navneet Chauhan Sir were also present along with the children.
