A free eye check-up camp was organised at Children’s Academy Senior Secondary School, Haldwani, under the chairmanship of District Interact Representative Swati Kapri and the aegis of Drishti Eye Hospital on Sunday, 21st January.
At the camp, senior eye surgeon Dr. D.N. Pauriyal and eye specialist Dr. Sumit Kumar conducted free eye check-up for a total of 122 people.
During the camp, some patients were identified for free cataract surgery under the Ayushman Card and Golden Card schemes, and their surgery dates were fixed. On this occasion, doctors also advised patients on how to keep their eyes healthy, and eye lubricating, chloramphenicol, BP testin and nefazoline drops were also distributed free of charge. Everyone was very happy to be part of a successful camp.
