Halduchaur. Keeping up to this tradition, the festival of Dussehra was celebrated by our school, Children’s Academy Sr. Sec. School on 3 October 2022. Dussehra is a major Indian festival celebrated by the Hindus on the tenth day of the Hindu calendar month of Ashvin, it also marks the end of Navratri festivities. The festival commemorates the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana; hence it symbolizes the triumph of good over evil.
Children staged various scenes of Ramayana in the courtyard of Children’s Academy Senior Secondary School on this occasion of Dussehrotsav. Children acted very well in scenes in which Lakshman Murcha and Ram’s lamentation ,Hanuman ji’s Sanjeevani Buti, climbing Lanka to destroy Ravana by Lord Shri Ram.
The purpose of the program to introduce children to their culture was accomplished.
