A two day Kathak workshop got completed successfully at Children’s Academy Senior Secondary School Halduchaur.
Many students Participated in Kathak Workshop and showed their talent on the concluding day of the two-day Kathak workshop at Children’s Academy Senior Secondary School today, February 14, 2023.
As it is said without a teacher a child can not become a student.
Students got trained by the World famous Kathak dancer Mrs. Kajal Sharma, who is a dweller of London. She has been the disciple of world renowned Birju Maharaj ji. During the programme she made the girl students of the school aware of the finer points of Kathak and practiced the way of standing, hand movement, foot movement, facial expressions, delicacy, rhythm etc. Along with this, the girl students also became aware of the background of Kathak. During this, participants presented a beautiful presentation. the participating girl students, were bestowed certificates and mementos by the school. Throwing light on the organization of the Kathak workshop, the Director Executive of the school, Priyanshi Pathak Ma’am , quoted a quotation of Jacques D Amboise for captivating students, she said

Ma’am made students understand that Kathak is the identity of Indian art, so that children can connect with this art and develop their interest in Kathak and enhance their talent by connecting with Kathak art, and in the field of dance. Students can create their own special identity. The school family told that a blue stocking Kajal Sharma Ma’am will be with the students through on line so that she can create continuity, enthusiasm and interest among the children towards Kathak.
Kajal Sharma Ma’am has promised to all the girl students that she will come to the school every year to observe the Kathak skills of the children and will give her guidelines from time to time. During this, Dr. Gerhard Stangl and Kathak dancer Anne Stangl were also present in the school. As we know very well that Kajal Sharma Ma’am has taken birth in India. She has spent her childhood in India only. Although she lives in London but her heart still beats for India. Kajal Sharma Ma’am is increasing the pride of our beautiful country India by showing her wisdom in many countries of Europe. She is giving Kathak training in many countries. During the
programme all the Members of School were in high spirits. Everyone congratulated to each other for a successful programme.
