The students of Interact Club of Children’s Academy Senior Secondary School, Halduchaur, Haldwani, took out an awareness rally on Saturday, October 1, in Halduchur area on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti under the title ”From service to Cleanliness” and organized a cleanliness campaign. During the walkathon,the students tried to convey a social message to create cleanliness in places like Community Center Halduchaur, Adarsh Colony, Bachidharma,etc. The school’s director Mr. Shrish Pathak, Principal Mrs. Monika Joshi flagged off the cleanliness rally. The rally went back to school via Deena, Bacchidharma and Gopipuram. During this rally, village head, BTC member and social worker Puran Chandra Joshi, Yogesh Pahari were present as guests.On this occasion, social worker Puran Chandra Joshi addressed students and said that “a healthy mind resides in a healthy body”.He appealed to students to make people aware about cleanliness living in their nearby villages, towns and localities.On this occasion Pramod Joshi, Basant Joshi, Prem Giri Goswami, Priyanshi Pathak, Deepa Sanwal with other teachers, staff members were present along with the children.
