Women are the backbone of the society. Without women society can’t be formed. We can say life can’t be imagined without women. Just as a foundation is needed to build a house, in the same way a society is made of people and people are born only through women.
If we say that there is no existence of this universe without women then there will be no exaggeration in it.
There are many forms of a woman in society. First of all she is a daughter and sometimes a sister, sometimes she is a wife and sometimes a mother. If we talk about an employee, then he works 7 to 8 hours in a week and takes breaks also in return he is given salary for his work. A woman who is in mother’s form works round the clock without taking break and salary. Leave aside the salary, the mother is not told even a single thank for her contribution and sacrifice.
In 1908, 15,000 women in New York went on strike because of low pay and terrible conditions in the factories where they worked. The following year, the Socialist Party of America organised a National Women’s Day, and one year after that, there was a conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, about equality and women’s right to vote. In Europe, the idea grew and became International Women’s Day (IWD) for the first time in 1911 and the United Nations declared 8 March International Women’s Day in 1975.
In our country despite some improvements, in my opinion, there are a lot of things to do. Every day we see in news when women become victims of their husbands or partners and in some cases wives are killed. When we talk in terms of leadership in companies, 38% are occupied by women, according to research from 2022.
